The Ladies Book Club includes all women in the Young Adult Ministry.  Our group meets once a month (usually the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the twenty30somethings suite) to socialize and discuss a specific topic or book.

The people of Haiti continue to need our help after the devastating earthquake last January.

The twenty30somethings of Dunwoody UMC responded to the call in October 2010.  We hope to return as soon as the political situation stabilizes later this spring.

People ask me about our trip to Haiti all the time.  I have to say that it was the most intense experience of hope in the midst of hopeless I've ever had.  Buildings and lives were crushed by the earthquake last year.  The United Methodist church is there helping to rebuild.

Build a stronger marriage from the start.

As soon as you decide to marry, meet with our clergy and take advantage of our premarital counseling services.  Our clergy are trained and qualified to help you in many aspects of your relationship such as: Conflict Resolution, Financial Management, Communication Skills, Spiritual Beliefs, Children and Parenting, Family Roles, and more.  We use the PREPARE/ENRICH marriage assessment.

What is PREPARE/ENRICH?

PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas.  It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education.  But there are also customized versions of the inventory used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement.  Based on a couple's assessment results, a trained facilitator provides 4-8 feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.
