Mark your calendar for the following service opportunities:

May 20 -- Service Project at the United Methodist Children's Home. The Young Adults and Mid-Singles will be spending the evening with the children of the UM Children's Home on Sunday, May 20 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. All you need to do is show up at the church ready to love on some children, teenagers, and families! This is a great opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ. This is a VERY kid-friendly service project. Good for the whole family to do. The people of Haiti continue to need our help after the devastating earthquake last January.

The twenty30somethings of Dunwoody UMC responded to the call in October 2010.  We hope to return as soon as the political situation stabilizes later this spring.

People ask me about our trip to Haiti all the time.  I have to say that it was the most intense experience of hope in the midst of hopeless I've ever had.  Buildings and lives were crushed by the earthquake last year.  The United Methodist church is there helping to rebuild.
