Dive in and discover God’s underwater universe! Swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. As they journey miles below the water’s surface, kids plunge into Bible stories of people with deep faith and learn to trust a God whose love is bigger than the sea.
Early registration: February 15-March 31 Cost $25.00
Normal registration April 1-May 15 (or until capacity) Cost $30.00

Extended Day option (through Leisure Ministries)
12:00 noon till 4:00 pm. Cost: $100 Bring a sack lunch each day Minimum participants: 15, Maximum participants: 25

At the same time and for this year only, as we make the transition to a new age cut-off, we will be offering “Mini VBS” for children who were 3 by September 1, 2011. Mini-VBS will be held in the Preschool Sunday school area and cost is the same as regular VBS. Volunteers may register their children in Mini-VBS for free.
God Squad
For rising 4th, 5th, & 6th Graders

God Squad is a mission experience for preteens that allows them to share Jesus in a hands-on, practical way. Students will have the opportunity to be God’s hands and feet by making a real difference in their neighborhood and the world around them. Participate in hands-on mission projects and explore what it means to love God by loving your neighbors down the street, across town, and even around the world. By combining missions and service, fun, fellowship, and worship, God Squad is a meaningful way for kids to live out their faith.
Registration: February 15-May 15, 2011 (or until facility capacity)
$65.00 per child per week (includes transportation)

God Squadders Have….
Prepared and served meals to people who are homeless at St. John the Wonderworker Eastern Orthodox Church in Grant Park
Worked in the community gardens at Brook Run, Dunwoody High School, and Vanderlyn Elementary
Planned and done activities with the kids at the Atlanta Day Shelter
Unloaded a WHOLE TRUCK of food at Malachi’s Storehouse food pantry at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church
Made lots and lots of sandwiches to help feed the hungry
Made soap and salt scrubs for the women at the Atlanta Day Shelter
Shared their talents with folks at Brighton Garden and Waterford Gardens senior centers
Taken care of God’s creation by working at the recycling center at Morgan Falls
God Is Green Camp
God Is Green Camp
Overnight camp for rising 4th, 5th and 6th grade

The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it. Genesis 2:15
God calls us to care for creation. At God Is Green camp, preteens will:
• Understand our responsibility as Christians to care for creation
• Find and worship God in our natural world
• Connect to nature
• Enjoy the outdoors
They will do this by experiencing, worshipping, learning and honoring.
