This is a non-profit consignment sale of gently used children’s clothing, furniture, toys, books and accessories, as well as maternity items.

Proceeds Benefit Charity

Our consignors receive 2/3 of the selling price. The remaining proceeds benefit local charities. 100 % of the profits are donated to the following charities along with unsold items that donors do not wish to pick up:

  • Grant Park Clinic: provides health care to men, women and children who are underserved at little or no cost. Prenatal care is emphasized;
  • United Methodist Children’s Home: provides housing and care to children who are unable to live with their parents;
  • Community Action Center: provides assistance to low income people in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs area;
  • Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children: provides a daytime home and resource center to homeless women and children in Atlanta.

Past consignment sales have raised more than $100,000 for these charities as well as thousands of dollars in donated items. We are excited about having more resources to donate as the sale grows.

Dates:

The sale is held twice a year--usually in August for the Fall/Winter seasons and March for the Spring/Summer seasons.

The next sale will be: August TBD

Location:

The sale is held at Dunwoody United Methodist Church Gym, located at 1548 Mt. Vernon Road. The nearest main intersection is Mt. Vernon and Chamblee-Dunwoody or Mt. Vernon and Ashford-Dunwoody. The Gym is located in the back of the facility.

Comments from previous customers and consignees:

  • This is one of the best sales in Atlanta. You are so organized and have some great things at some very fair prices. I really like the way you donate the proceeds to charity.
  • You have some of the best facilities that I have ever seen at a consignment sale. There is tons of parking. Everyone is so nice and best of all I think I got some terrific clothing for my children.
  • I have consigned with several other sales and you girls really know how to run a sale. You are so organized and make things really easy for me as a consignor. I’ll be back.

Questions About Consigning...

How do I become a seller?

Click HERE to register as a seller. If you have never logged into MyConsignmentSaleManager.com before you will need to select NEW SELLER/VOLUNTEER. Registration for the March 2012 Spring and Summer Sale is now open.

If I was registered to consign for a prior sale, do I have to register again?

Yes!  You will need to login using your user name and password from the previous sale.

If you have previously used MyConsignmentManger.com for another sale, you can login as a RETURNING SELLER/VOLUNTEER and register by paying the registration fee,  DunwoodyUMC Kids Consignment/spring/summer/2012.

I thought I pre-registered for at the previous sale for the Spring 2011 sale, what do I do?
The sale DID NOT pre-register any sellers for the current sale.  ALL sellers will need to pay the registration fee either via paypal or by mailing a check to the address provided.  The quickest way to activate your number is to pay via paypal.

When do I drop off my things?
NEW THIS SALE

Sellers will sign up for a drop-off time through the tagging system. The drop off times for this sale have been changed to Monday and Tuesday.  Refer to the Important Dates found on the webpage for actual drop-off times for the upcoming sale. Please allow enough time in your schedule at drop-off to have your items checked in.

How much time should I designate for dropping off my items?

A typical drop-off does not take more than 30-45 minutes, but this varies according to how many people have come to drop-off at the same time, as well as how many items you are bringing. You will need to bring a copy of your Inventory Report to turn in at check-in.  Also, please bring one tagged item for a test scan to the check-in table. You can speed up your drop-off by having your items correctly hung and tagged as well as having them in order by gender and size when you bring them in.

Can someone else drop-off my items for me?
Anyone can drop-off your items. Please make sure they know your consignor number when they come. They will be responsible for returning any items to you that Dunwoody UMC Kids Consignment Sale chose not to accept.

Will you take all my items?
We screen items very closely as to maintain the quality of the sale. Please don't be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. It is often easy to miss a spot or a tear when you are getting your items ready at home. We want to be known for having the best quality merchandise. We also check to make sure items brought to the sale are for the appropriate season. We also do not accept stuffed animals, pacifiers, copied movies, violent games, and maternity clothes.  Also, please review the Boutique Clothing List before you assign Boutique Category to your items.

Can I pick-up my unsold items?
Consignors have the option of picking up their unsold items or you can choose to donate your left-over items to a local charity. Any items you do not pick-up will be donated as well. Unsold item pick-up typically takes place on Saturday afternoon. Please refer to the Important Dates on the webpage for the exact times of consignor pick-up for the upcoming sale.

How do I get to shop early?

If you volunteer to work at the sale you get the privilege of shopping early. The more hours you volunteer, the earlier you shop. Shopping our Presale is reserved solely for our volunteers. Please note that NO CHILDREN WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE PRESALE. Additionally, volunteering only allows one person entry into the presale due to space concerns.
